RCA & Casco
- Use this form if you were damaged by a person who holds an Ominimo RCA policy.
- Or if you hold an Ominimo RCA policy with the Direct Settlement Clause (Decontare Directa).
- Or if you hold an Ominimo Casco policy and suffered an insured event such as accident, theft, fire, or weather damage.
What You Need to Know Before Reporting
1. The Ominimo policy number
2. The date and location of the accident
3. The chassis number (VIN) of the damaged vehicle
Eligibility for Direct Settlement
You can use Direct Settlement if ALL of the following apply:
• The accident occurred on Romanian territory
• The damage is exclusively to vehicles (no bodily injury)
• Both vehicles involved have valid RCA policies at the time of the accident
• Both vehicles are registered in Romania
• If damaged by a vehicle insured in Romania but registered abroad, contact BAAR for
assistance (baar.ro)
