What is direct settlement?


Normally, if someone hits your car, you deal with their insurer. With the Direct Settlement
Clause on your own RCA policy, you claim directly from Ominimo — faster and easier.


Applies when all of the following are true:
 

  • Accident occurred on Romanian territory
     
  • Both vehicles are registered in Romania
     
  • Both vehicles have valid RCA policies at the time of the accident
     

  • Claim covers only vehicle damage (not bodily injury)
